Monument to M. Skobelev (Ryazan, the district of Dashkovo-Pesochnay)

The monument was laid in 1995.
Opening of the monument took place in celebration of the 900-th anniversary of Ryazan. The monument is located on the avenue of Skobelev in the district of Dashkovo-Pesochniy.
The author - sculptor Boris Gorbunov.

On the monument to General Skobelev is written  "Suvorov equal is!",  Seventy battles and all are the victories. We are proud of! We are remembering! We honor!"

The place of the monument is used for a variety of political action. Last of them the  rally against of the political repression (February 16, 2013).
